My name is Chadbourne Maurice Converse, and I am the founder of C. M. Converse Consulting. To my clients and friends, I answer to the nickname "Chad." Please accept my invitation to get in contact with me any time.
Our Story
A lifelong passion for writing that grew into a professional mission
This enterprise was born out of a lifelong passion for writing that began when I was very young. Reading was encouraged in our household, and I can recall exploring some of the classic literature in the Western canon as a child with admiration and deep curiosity.
Here were books that could evoke with words alone what few blockbuster films could ever achieve on the big screen. Any emotion could be conjured and any idea - however obscure - could be communicated between one person and another by means of simple marks on a page.
Throughout my academic and professional career, I have continued to deepen my passion for writing and I am now pleased to be able to share the benefits with others. Exceptional university education provided me with opportunities to sharpen my research and writing skills; as an undergraduate at Berkeley, I was the first student on record to matriculate with a double major in two related fields that each revolved around research and writing.

Second undergraduate major centered on research, writing, and the analysis of rhetorical techniques throughout history.

Advanced education perfecting skills in research accuracy, transparent citation, logical argumentation, and clear communication.

As a professional, I have concentrated on deploying my skills as a legal and technical researcher and writer to generate favorable outcomes for employers, clients and customers and others in need of advice to improve the quality of written work.

My career has exposed me to many kinds of people and many kinds of businesses, and in addition to my passion for writing, I have developed a passion for helping others to express to clients, customers, business partners, government agencies or any other audience the mission behind their particular product or service. Long experience has proven to me that effective communication is perhaps the most important factor in starting and sustaining a new business. After all, many great ideas have disappeared before seeing the light of day when those that conceived them neglected to commit such memories to history by creating a written record.
